Holidays

Man is it just me or do the holidays seem to eat up all your time? It’s been crazy here on my end! Spent the week with some SCAD buddies and now I’m back. Even still, my plate’s full of so many things to do and prepare for 2011! So keep an eye out for some exciting new Pompfiction things yet to come…

Okay so maybe the title’s not totally 50s, but it’s retro >.> You get the point haha. Hope yall had a good Thanksgiving. Nothin’ like a family, a beer, and a page-o-Pompfiction to celebrate the holidays. LoL So in the spirit of it all, what’m I thankful for? I gotta say, as great as life’s been, it wouldn’t be nearly as cool without the people in my life: family, friends, and online friends! You guys really do make this webcomic enjoyable for me to keep doing. So a big thanks to all you readers out there! You give me fulfillment in my hobby-soon-to-be-career-hopefully-*shifty eyes* Stay safe out there guys! It’s black Friday! The roads and stores are not safe >.>Let’s pray for a safe holiday this season! No shopper-induced-deaths plzkthx.

Pomp Tumblr?

So I made a little Pompfiction mock-up on Tumblr. Just trying to see if I can recreate Pompfiction on something like Tumblr, though I’m having some issues. I love that Tumblr is so simple, quick and easy… but maybe too simple? For more info, check it out here!

Also, I’ve been getting Phil to help with my site speed, how does it feel guys? Anyone care to provide any site design feedback too, btw? If so, please make use of the forum topic! I’d really like to know where I’m going right and wrong as a site designer. Should it be simpler? More complex? Does it look too rudimentary? Too many graphics, too little graphics? Shinier? Less shiny? XD Let’s hear it folks!

And thanks to everyone’s continued support. Thank you all for your comments, and for reading! It really encourages me. Anyway, I’m currently accepting art for Pompfiction Vol2′s fanart section! Requirements: 8×8″ 300dpi CMYK if you choose to do color. Anyway, I can’t accept EVERY entry unfortunately. But you’re more than welcome to submit it and try! I’m looking for unique styles, high quality art, something that really represents Pompfiction. No fan characters or your own original characters please, for copyright reasons. Any thing you all would like to see in Volume 2?
