Pompadours of LEGEND- the Leningrad Cowboys

So my friend Vince introduced me to the Leningrad Cowboys. Man, and I thought the Bōsōzoku had some crazy pomps!?

Not an actual Bōsōzoku pomp...*

Well move aside Japan, because Finland’s got you beat! The Leningrad Cowboys have pompadours to marvel even Galileo’s!

And here I thought I’d never see a real-life Galileo Pomp!

Except maybe this guy... almost.**

I’m amazed at mankind’s ability to defy gravity. Anyway their shoes!? Talk about a pair of winkle pickers! More like winkle— um… I DONT KNOW WHATS! Either way you should be jealous at the length of their… winkle. That being said, here’s some Leningrad Cowboys for ya!

Forum in Use

Hey, so I’ve gotten some more updates done here on the site! I’ve finally fixed the cropping issue on the Forum thanks to Phil, yet again a life saver! So do check it out, I’ve got some new posts there as well including some cool 50s reference sites, and info on Greasers Around the World! I’ve set up thumbnails of the latest Comic Pages as well as strips there on the right, and  I’m currently working on getting up a “thumb” of the latest Fiction!

Also check out the Fanart Gallery, as there’s some great new additions there, featuring one by Salty Moose (Alex Mejias) from Deviantart.

Also don’t forget to show your support by voting for PompFiction at TopWebComics as well as ComicHovel. Voting takes place daily, and the rank is per month, so let’s see if we can’t get PompFiction at the top 100 this month! It’d be a great birthday surprise! *nudge nudge* May21st *coughcough* Thank you all for your continued support! I hope to continue to revamp the site and clean up all this mess and make PompFiction a happy, pretty place to read.

Site Revamps

After a grueling day of badgering poor Phil over at Frumph.net, I’ve finally made headway on the site updates! It may not seem like a lot to you, but perhaps you’ll notice I’m finally able to host my comicstrips on the main domain! Aaand you can keep an eye out for some new site content to be uploaded THIS SUMMER! Upon my graduation from SCAD I’ll finally be able to devote 100% of my time to Pompfiction.com, which means more content, as you all requested! Hopefully with the addition of the mysterious Comic Libs, you all can get your fill on ALL the Pompfiction characters, especially if the main story line isn’t to your interest or seems to be dragging. More on Comic Libs later!

I realize there are a lot of rough spots on the site, and with your feedback and help, I can continue to perfect and fine tune the site. Edit: I FIXED the rollover problem! Yay

I finally got the comic strips up on the main domain, so there’ll be no use for Pompadoodles anymore! So if you’ve subscribed to that separately be sure to make the appropriate changes.

Anyway, let’s hear what you all have to say! I also realize the forum’s a little dead. Well, more than just a little. Anyone even attempt to use that thing? I realize there’s some cropping issues that have yet to be resolved… OOPS! Is that the reason it goes so barren? Anything you all would like to see, or care to see less of? I’m always open to any feedback. Thank you all for your continued support!
