It’s an art-forum, where you can come and draw on the free provided drawing program, Oekaki BBS, post it, and receive feedback as well as comment on others’ artwork as well! It’s a great place to get help with drawing, or to show off what you can do! Interested? Check it out!
They’re essentially spontaneous make-it-up-as-you-go style comic strips drawn with a guest artist simultaneously on the same canvas. One little doodle inspires the next, and before you know it, the comic comes to life on the canvas itself! I use the program Open Canvas v1.1 combo’d with Hamachi as a port to connect to other people’s compuuuuters! *spirit fingers*
Who can become a Guest Artist?
Know how to use OC? Got Hamachi? Wanna art jam? Ask me sometime, though I can’t make promises. It’s usually audition-based: looking for people with good spontaneous humor, a relatively similar style, and speed. The ones that get published on the site I just pick and choose based on a lot of things, but I definitely can’t use people’s original characters in a published Comic Lib for obvious copyright reasons.
