I go by Fyuvix. I’m an alumni of Savannah College of Art and Design 2010, majored in Sequential Arts; that’s COMICS! My interests lay in my art and RP writing, particularly character development. Other interests include WWII history, classic cars, and costuming.

I have been drawing my whole life, with my earliest inspirations stemming from Dark Wing Duck episode 9: Comic Book Capers which I attribute to my interest in drawing comics today. Most of my artist inspiration comes from cartoons of the 90s: Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Rocko’s Modern Life, etc, though as a kid I used to follow the Sonic the Hedgehog comics. While I can’t say I have a favorite superhero, my favorite comic book has to be the original Super Mario Adventures comic.

The Artist’s Manifesto

Though my characters are anthropomorphic, I consider my comic just a “cartoon,” not “just a furry comic.” I grew up where Bugs Bunny, Tiny Toons, Rocko’s Modern Life, and Road Rovers were just called “cartoons,” no ulterior connotations added. I’d like to return the legitimacy to “furry” art by showing that you can still have a fun story line with animal characters as with any! That’s why my comic includes humans as well with none of that unnecessary background info “In a world… where animals and humans must break the boundaries of segregation…” Nah. I’m doin’ it toon style. Like how no one questions the strange relationship between Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd. That’s what’s up.
